Promising that coveted ‘loft living’ feel, Hyatt Centric Wall Street’s roomy rooms (starting at 345 square foot each) come with high ceilings, oversized panelled windows, and cool modern styling. As you’ll be tempted to ‘stay in’, they’ve thrown in complimentary WiFi. But you’re in Wall Street’s only hotel – so making the most of your surroundings is a must, even if you only make it as far as the hotel’s mezzanine floor for craft cocktails at Centric Bar & Grill, or its decadent buffet restaurant for American dishes and handcrafted cocktails.

Lack of A/C in Winter Leads to an Uncomfortable Sleep
Jan 6, 2025Graham W
If you're staying in winter, you may want to look elsewhere if you like to sleep in a cold room at night (below 70+ degrees). Hard mattresses as well. In its heyday, this was a nice property, but you can definitely see the age. It's definitely closer to a budget property now, so make sure you're paying budget rates when you book and keep your…

I booked the hotel from 12/30/24 to 1/1/25. I was planning on sleeping here New Year’s Eve. I checked into the hotel at about 1 or 2am on the 31st. I booked the hotel from 12/30/24 to 1/1/25. I was planning on sleeping here New Year’s Eve. I checked into the hotel at about 1 or 2am on the 31st. So I wasn’t even there for the first day that I had paid for. My bill was $1725 for a 2night/3day stay. I was charged and extra $325 for checking out late. I had slept in and called down to the front desk as soon as I woke up and realized I had over slept. When I spoke to the girl down stairs at the desk she said not to worry and they would send a cart up to help bring my luggage downstairs. If I had known they were going to charge me I would have just another night. I already had another hotel booked at the Grand Hyatt in NYC because I was checking out all the Hyatt hotels in the area and planned to post the hotel reviews to my you tube channel. As a content creator, that’s what I do. When I called to ask about the charge they just said that’s what they were charging me. Even though with my status I had the room until 2pm. I was gone before 3. Getting my car from valet took at least an hour. The room was nothing like what it looked like in the pictures. It was much smaller in person and none of the light switches in the room worked properly. I am a loyal Hyatt member. I stay at hyatts all over the place and this one was the worst. I have never felt so taken advantage of by a hotel. Won’t be staying here ever again. When I called the hotel to address the bill they said they would investigate and get back to me. That did not happen. They told me that each Hyatt is individually owned and they could bill me how ever they wanted.

Horrible breakfast
Jan 3, 2025Munhee L
I told the restaurant staff that I could have free breakfast as Guest of Honor and I saw nothing on the bill when I checked out. But I found that they posted the charge on my credit card. Now I have to contact them and dispute the charge.
Even the food was horrible and the staff was neither friendly nor clean.

No VIP perks were granted at time of check-in. we were put into room 918, facing Water Street. 24/7 construction going on on Water Street, and we were not able to sleep for 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday nights). As a Platinum member I should have been given an upgrade at least, but nothing. The person who assigned us the room knew exactly that…
