In Meemu Atoll, 145km south of Malé Island. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 45 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

10 Standard Bungalows, 70 Water Bungalows and 20 Platinum Beach Bungalows are built around two islands with direct access to the lagoon. All with sun deck, air-conditioning, lounge area with glass-bottomed floor (in water Bungalows), TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board (on request), and bathrobes. Beach Bungalows are in a secluded inland location on the main island in close proximity to the main pool & bar with 1 double bed, plus an extra bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.
Standard All-Inclusive includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus selection of local snacks served between 10:30am-11:30am, 4:00pm-6:00pm & 10:30am-11:30pm. Unlimited regular house brands froma a selection of spirits and wines (served by the glass only). Unlimited cocktails and mocktails from a select menu. Selection of draught beer.
Virgin All-Inclusive: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus snacks at selected times. One seafood grill or steak dinner at the table once per stay. Beach barbecues, lobster and special seafood dinners, and à la carte orders are at a supplement. A platter of chocolates in room on second day and mini-bar including soft drinks and beer (refilled once daily). Selected domestic and premium branded drinks, including spirits, wines and cocktails, plus soft drinks such as bottled water, fresh juices, Sprite, Fanta, Cola (diet drinks at a charge), milk shakes, tea and coffee. Available 9:00am–midnight. Children's menu includes pasta, soup, nuggets, fish and chips, as well as drinks such as milkshakes, juices and squash. Snorkelling equipment, use of fitness centre, badminton court, table tennis and beach volleyball. One dolphin watching excursion per stay. Virgin All-Inclusive will begin at midday on day of arrival and end at midday on day of departure.
Premium All-Inclusive package: includes all of the inclusions of the standard package plus a welcome bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, in-room mini-bar stocked with beer, soft drinks and selection of snacks replenished daily, premium international brand spirits wines and cocktails, unlimited fresh juice and mild shakes. 2 complimentary excursions from selected list per person per stay (weather permitting). Invitation to 2 special themed party events organised by the resort, one special dinner on the beach with the option of a mixed seafood grill or steak. Signature 60-minute spa treatment once every 5-night stay and turndown service every night.
Water Bungalows offer a direct view of either sunrise or sunset with a glass-bottom floor, private sun deck and staircase leading down to the lagoon with 1 double bed, plus an extra bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.
Platinum Beach Bungalows are located on a small private island with a private outdoor swimming pool, bar and lounge and restaurant. The island is connected to the main resort via a walkway and is for adults 18 years above only.
On Main Island: Malaafaiy Restaurant (on the main island serving continental/buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with different nightly themes and live cooking stations; open 7:00am-9:30am, 12:30pm-2:30pm and 7:30pm-9:30pm). The Crab Restaurant (on the main island serving specialty seafood). Veli Bar & Lounge. Pool bar (located on the main island serving International cocktails and mocktails with live music; open 7:00am until the last guests leaves). On Adults-Only Island: Manzaru Restaurant. Vevu Bar & Lounge.
Entertainment including live music, cultural show, and disco night. Cinema on the beach.

We stayed for 15 nights in a beach bungalow on the private island, it was very clean and well maintained by the gardeners, our room was perfect and kept beautiful by Ali Niyaz.
The pool bar staff Melaka, Nandana and Akalanka provided great service tho the pool bar area had no sun shade at all and some very uncomfortable seating… definitely needs…

Food was excellent the chefs were so helpful and always happy to help with choices… of which there were plenty.
The waiters all attentive, Dhaain our waiter was an absolute star always ready with our drinks nothing too much trouble and very funny. I hope you go far and wish you an exciting future you are perfect for the hospitality industry.
A very big negative tho was the drinks packages, we didn’t upgrade to premium as all drinks were still not included… the management did sort something for us but it just all seemed a little odd.
There is a lot of up selling on the island.

The bungalow was all you could dream of in paradise.
The buffet food was probably the best we have ever experienced in all our years of all inclusive buffet food.
Our waiter SHAFIZ was absolutely the best (even though he was a Liverpool supporter 😂) he looked after us and always had the biggest smile and warmest welcome.
The beach cleaners worked non stop sweeping the leaves and seaweed.
The Bar staff were always helpful and smiling although some of them need cocktail making lessons 🙈
The bar supervisor SHAKTHI genuinely needs recognition as probably one of the nicest friendliest barman that we have ever met.
The complementary snorkelling boat trips were needed as it was too shallow to swim.
Now … firstly our biggest issues was the fact that although we were aware there was the choice to upgrade, we did not realise that the upgrade included premium alcohol which at the price we paid for our 4* inclusive holiday we assumed we was already getting, it appears that you only get local branded alcohol along with local spirit cocktails (which in my mind were not pleasant)
The fact I was asked to pay extra for a cappuccino with my breakfast in the morning just hit a nerve… it was sorted but it was an issue that I did not need,
To get these branded alcohol cocktails and a coffee would come at the cost of an extra US$60 per day per person.
There also seemed to be a sunbed issue where people were putting towels on the Sunloungers st 8:30 in the morning and was not returning for hours on end, this needs to be addressed also.
All in all we had a pleasant time .

From arriving at Male airport to arriving at the resort, everyone were so friendly & they couldn't do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely with fresh cooking daily & the restaurant staff looked after you continuously, especially the waiters Haman, Keerthi & Riyaaz & the chefs Mohan, Kelum & Mahl were so friendly & welcoming & worked hard to cook delicious food everyday. We stayed in a beach bungalow on the Platinum island & it were just perfect, our room was nice & clean, even the cleaning staff left us treats. It were nice & peaceful, a great way to unwind & some days we had the beach & pool to ourselves which was amazing. Our barman, Akalanka looked after us, making sure we had drinks, even when we were in the pool & would always bring our drinks to us. The only downside we had were the 4hr wait for a seaplane. We even did the romantic meal on the nearby sandbank where we had our own boat, butler & chef, it felt so special & the 6 course meal was amazing, they even let us device our own menu as we don't eat seafood. I would definitely recommend the sunset cruise, it was fun with lots of cocktails & canapés. I also went snorkeling with sharks, my husband chickened out, it was amazing. Our holiday was complete paradise, pure relaxation, everything I could ever wish for. I can't wait to return to this beautiful island 😍

There are many islands in the Maldives and this was our first visit to this incredible group of islands. Our accommodation was a very pretty beach bungalow surrounded by palms and mangroves, opening the French windows to our own beach front and lagoon. Our accommodation had everything you needed and nothing was too much, you just had to ask.
Our time was spent just chilling, sunbathing, swimming in the ocean and exploring the island but of course there are boat trips and scuba diving, bbq’s live music and a gift shop.
So a shout out to all those that made our 40th wedding anniversary so memorable, and I do hope I have spelt everybody’s name correctly. A big thank you to Riyaaz, Sammah, Dhaain, Kelum, Moham and finally Hannan for helping make our trip so memorable and will never be forgotten.

We decided against it. ‘Salesman’ Sanam kept pushing for ‘bbq night at the crab’ which was cancelled due to wind & thus would have been a buffet for $85 each person but he explained would be $50 for ‘a better wine than the house wine’. We left & would suggest - watch this guy.
Positives. The rooms, restaurant, staff on the Private bungalow island were all amazing. We & friends had rooms 415 & 416 (definitely best choice). A BIG MENTION TO MOHAN, KELUM & MOHIL CHEFS, RIYAAZ & HANNAN GREAT SERVERS, ALI NIYAZ OUR AMAZING CLEANER, MENDAKA, NANDAKA, AKALANKA BAR STAFF - All FABULOUS.
The dive centre guys & trips were 100% best place to visit & arrange. We completed swimming with sharks, mantras, stingrays & Jetskis. We also did dolphin private trip (best way for sure). A BIG shout out for SHAMAD & SHARMA for their amazing knowledge & support. We loved every minute of our holiday. Would definitely suggest the trips we mentioned, pay in dollars & go by seaplane.
