Caesars Palace

The Strip, Las Vegas

Star rating

The hotel

This Las Vegas legend hasn’t outlasted many of its neighbours by accident. Look beyond its decadent glory-of-Rome exterior and you’ll find supremely well-appointed, contemporary rooms and suites without a whiff of white marble overkill. There are few Vegas resorts that can hold a Roman candle to Caesar’s casino and gaming options, while foodies could happily spend days ticking off the relaxed and upscale eateries on offer. Likewise, if retail therapy is on your mind, the resort’s Forum Shops is an opulent mall that’s been dubbed ‘The Shopping Wonder of the World’. And did we mention that Caesar’s Palace continues to host the grandest of grand Vegas performers such as Adele at its 4,000 plus seater Colosseum stadium?

My husband and I would like to give a shout out to, Tonia at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing! A double shout out to Miles (front desk manager). They both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, it was our first stay at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas. BUT….. after just a short time, we started noticing that we were being stereotyped…. Bartenders and servers were avoiding us, and tending to the people that appear to be upscale. Which was very sad and disappointing! Never judge a book by its cover, unless there are behavioral issues or something else that is causing the judgment, there was no reason for us to be neglected. Just because a person doesn’t look like they have money to spend generously, doesn’t mean that they are not well off. We were there for a wedding for my best friend, and she was very upset on some other issues that she was dealing with as well. Although they stay at Caesars when they are in Vegas. My dear friend, was literally about to break down while getting ready for her wedding….. unacceptable! Management later set up bottles of Champagne to each of our rooms, although the gesture was wonderful at the moment. Then we realized it was a $10-$15 bottle of champagne. We almost felt insulted again…. Read less

The best first time Vegas experience. Super thankful for Seifer showing me favor and being so sweet with check in, I got an upgraded room at no extra charge. I loved this place, lots of restaurants- go to Amalfi for pasta a the best Italian desserts - pistachio gelato and tiramisu knocked me out!

An aggressive tourist trap. The hidden charges are very upsetting. For example, asking $65 for checking in couple hours earlier as the one was available, or charging $20 to deliver an Amazon small package from the business office to my room, not giving me an option to pick it up myself. And stuff that is expecting tips everywhere making you… Read more
