From the 1 September 2018, any refund request of tickets and documents issued between 1 July 2017 - 31 March 2018 will not be accepted and processed for GST (K3) refund.

Tickets and documents issued between 1 July 2017 - 31 March 2018 must have been submitted for refund by 31 August 2018.

Any tickets and documents originally issued with GST (K3) till 31 March 2018 but reissued between April 2018 - 31 August 2018, must have been submitted for refund by 31 August 2018.

Any refund for GST (K3) processed after the above deadline will not be recoverable from the Government of India. Section 34 of GST ACT states that the credit note for refund of GST should be issued in the month of credit given, but not later than 30 September.

For tickets issued between 01 April 2018 - 31 March 2019 the refunds will be allowed until 31 August 2019.
